AMELIA GIESCHEN, CFA, WEALTH PLANNING STRATEGIST
Your accounts need to be monitored by someone who is well-versed in setting and achieving goals. Someone like Amelia Gieschen. Whether she has a goal of completing a triathlon (more in her personal bio) or you have a goal of saving for retirement, Amelia is focused on helping herself and others see it through. As a Wealth Planning Strategist and Registered Representative, Amelia prepares and monitors client plans while helping to ensure that the investment strategy supports the identified goals. She also acts as an advocate when working with other advisors. Her goal is to give you a clear view of your financial picture.
Amelia is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA® Charterholder) and currently holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations. Amelia is also an active member of the CFA® Society of Minnesota and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

University of Minnesota
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Amelia Gieschen moved to Minneapolis in 2007 to attend the University of Minnesota. She now resides near Como Lake in St. Paul and her sense of adventure guides her around the country to explore our public lands. That’s not to say she sits at home when she’s not traveling. She enjoys local, outdoor activities including (but not limited to) biking, cross country skiing, rock climbing, hiking, and camping. When the weather keeps her indoors, she will often “get lost” in an experimental bread-making or pastry baking session.
Amelia also participates in the YWCA Minneapolis Women’s Triathlon almost every summer, a tradition that started in 2012. She demonstrates physical and mental strength through her achievements – and it pays off. She has continued to set a new personal record at each attempt.
In addition to living an active lifestyle, Amelia enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their cat, a “foster fail”, Barley. She looks forward to someday road-tripping in South America and hiking in northern Alaska, but is no less delighted by what Minnesota has to offer in its diverse and vibrant culture.
“I would love to continue living a life that constantly keeps me moving, mentally and physically!”
